I used to buy .030 black fiber purfling from High Mountain, but that won't be happening any longer. Does anyone know of another source? I know I can purchase a full sheet from LMI but I'd prefer to buy strips.

And I used to buy EIR bridgepins with MOP dots from LMI but I see that they won't ship them to Canada any longer. Do you know of a Canadian source for these? Or a way around the border issue?

Any help would be appreciated.

Phil

Hi Phil,

I'm not sure what part of Canada you are in but you might try these places. I don't know if they have what you are looking for, but they would be a good starting point. I believe all these suppliers will ship.

Japarts - http://www.japarts.ca
Exotic woods - http://www.exotic-woods.com/index.html
A&M - http://forloversofwood.com/musical_instrument_parts

Hope that helps.

Thanks Josh. Super-helpful!
I'd never heard of Japarts before, and it seems like they have exactly what I'm looking for.
I'm in Winnipeg by the way. Just one province over, but still a very long way.
